If you have read the previous posts, you’ve already been introduced to Brooke. If you haven’t, that is okay, you can read about our story here.
I am so proud of Brooke that I have been trying to write this post for weeks now. I keep falling short and wondering how you fully let someone know you have seen them fight for what they want, and despite everything that has tried to push their current in a different direction, they made it. These are the stories I live for. Life is already hard, but throw in some dreams and you’ll quickly find out what you’re made of.
I feel like even though we live in different states, we’ve been walking each other through life. I’ve gotten to see the work she has put into this, and I have gotten to witness the ups and downs–the behind the scenes.
I am overjoyed to announce that Brooke’s debut poetry book will be released October 13, 2023. Presales are going on now, until August 11, 2023.
Here is the link for all of the preorder information if you’d like to take a look and show her some support!
I have been waiting (not so patiently) to share some of my favorite images I took of her while I was in Beaufort, SC. We had ONE day…and we made the most of it.
I am so honored she chose my photos for this book, and also her promotional materials. I love being a part of people’s dreams.
Brooke, I’m grateful to know you. Thank you for breathing life back into my writing. This entire blog, and anything I write from this day forward, will be because of people like you who believe in me and push me to keep going and who see the good in me even when I can’t.
I’ll always be here…pink pom-poms in hand! I’ll always be cheering you on because I can see the incredible talent you have nurtured all these years. It’s your time to bloom.
